xOCy
Search the home (origin) position. The command is similar to xORy, but it instantly resets to zero absolute position counter and enables soft (decelerated) stop, when "Home" switch is detected (see also xCR command). The stop position is not "exact Home", but absolute position counter shows to it. -

SYNTAX    xOCy, where x controller (axis) number.
PARAMETER y [number] sets maximum number of micro steps to be moved. 1 micro step = 1/8 of motor step. The sign sets the direction of motion.
Range     -2000000000...2000000000.
DESCRIPTION: This command initiates the relative motion. It combines fast speed and smooth break, passing exact Home position. The command is similar to xORy, but it resets to zero position counter (which can be read by xCR command), enables soft (decelerated) break, when "Home" position is detected. When command is received, the controller checks current Home switch level. Then the selected axis x will move, with the predefined acceleration and velocity, to a relative position y micro steps away from the current position. If hardware home switch rises from low to high level or reverse, absolute step position counter is set to zero and motion is decelerated until full stop. Home switch position is sensitive from both sides. The stopped position is not "exact Home". It  is "about Home". Distance to exact "Home" position now is shown by absolute counter.
Note: The command is disabled in service mode. In default mode, the motor motion stops instantly, if hardware limit switch is connected short (it can be disabled/enabled by RL, LL commands). The last case can be tested with x? command, which returns -1. All motion commands remain disabled until error code is read by ER command.
