xVFy Set maximum velocity value y (steps/second). - Yes Yes

SYNTAX    xVFy
Where x – controller (axis) number
PARAMETER y [number]  = speed in micro steps/second, where 1 micro step = 1/8 of motor step. The parameter is used in default mode by motion commands. See VS command to set the same parameter for service mode.
Range 1...2000. (1...16000 for SP1A)
DESCRIPTION: This command sets maximum stepper motor rotation speed for trapezoidal profile (xTP1 command), or constant speed, if trapezoidal profile is not set (xTP0 command).
Note: Consider auto gear or manual gear modes (AG, MM commands). If gear factor is 2 (half step), the actual velocity (2000) increases 4 times and reaches 8000 micro steps/second maximum speed limit, where 1 micro step = 1/8 of motor step. Auto gearing (AG command) combines both best features: the finest resolution (1/8 of step) and high speed.
Example: if stepper motor has 1.8 deg/revolution, the actual maximum motor rotation rate is 5Hz (and 40 Hz for SP1A).
Current maximum speed can be tested (read) by xGP2 command.
