Serial Port Terminal is Freeware supplied by Research Support Technologies

It  runs on  Windows 98 or higher. You can use it to configure SP1 controller through a serial port of your PC. It is very simple to use.
1. Run Serial Port Terminal on your PC. Serial port default parameters are preset in Serial Port Options window. If COMn port, different from n=1 has to be used, replace the string with "COMn".
2. Press Serial Init to make serial port (COM1, COM2....) initialization.

The Command Set can be read from file:  File > Read options.
Note: You may read default options and some command set  from file, named by default.cfg. Select another COM port number and repeat Serial init procedure, if necessary.
The Command Set can be saved: File > Write options.
There are 10 buttons which can be preprogrammed to send 10 strings to serial port. The strings can be preset in The string to send window. Terminating characters are listed in Help window. Do not forget to add them at the end of the strings. Make notes for the commands in Command help window.
Note: All the characters typed on screen are immediately sent to COM port. Received characters also are displayed in the same window.
