xLCy Lock the controller. The locked controller ignores the all commands (except UC command) in default mode. All service mode commands remain unlocked. y - password string, if password is preset by PS command, otherwise y parameter is ignored - Yes Yes
 
SYNTAX    xLCy, where x - controller (axis) number
PARAMETER y is a password string of about 10 characters. More characters are ignored. The password is preset by PS command.
DESCRIPTION: The command locks the controller for default mode. The controller never is locked in service mode. If controller returns to default mode, it becomes locked again.
If controller is locked by LC command using password and the controller state is saved in Flash memory by SO command, the controller awakes locked when it is up next time. Thus the locked state becomes default, and the controller must be unlocked by UC command every time before it is used.
Note: if password is lost, the locked controller may be unlocked in 3 steps:
1. Switch into service mode by pressing two top panel (Left and Right) buttons simultaneously for 3-4 seconds.
2. Set a new password by PS command.
3. Unlock the controller by UC command, using with the new password.
